Holiday

The day has finally arrived.  We are leaving Tampa late afternoon for 5 nights in Las Vegas.  Since we had to cancel the cruise last year after my friend passed away, it's been a long time since we have been on a "real" (no mystery shopping involved) vacation.

You all know I just can't have fun if I spend money unnecessarily.  Thankfully, we are able to enjoy Las Vegas on a shoestring:

• the room is free
• the food is free
• $100 per day of gambling is free

The largest expense was our flight there.  Once we are there, I will come out of pocket for some gambling and entertainment.  We will most likely see a movie (the resort has a 16 screen theater), visit Red Rock Canyon, and possibly hang out with an acquaintance.

Regardless what happens in Vegas, the details will be posted here.  Well, the financial side of things, anyway.  Hope everyone has a great week!
